Climate
The climate of New Zealand is temperate, with most temperatures falling in the range of between 0◦ C (32◦F) and 30◦ C (86◦ F).
Temperatures averages vary between geographic regions, with the Canterbury plains and Christchurch being the driest, whilst Auckland has the most rainfall of the major cities.
All three of the largest cities - Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch -have a yearly average in excess of 2000 hours of sunshine.
Winter is June through August and our Summer is between December and March.
